Golden Eagle Orientation Registration

Our orientation process is required for incoming first-year students along with additional supplemental requirements:

All new students should select an overnight orientation session below.
Choose the session date that works best for you!

You will be staying in one of our on-campus residence halls.

Guest Policy

Students attending a session are permitted to bring one guest due to space limitations. Guests will attend separate, but concurrent information sessions designed to help them understand processes, procedures, and how to support their new Golden Eagle during their transition to SUNY Brockport.
- If a second guest is necessary, please contact us for accommodations.
- Guests can have housing accommodations provided upon request.

Supplemental Requirements:

Every new student is required to complete an online training module related to alcohol and other drugs and sexual assault prevention. A link to these required pieces of training will be shared later in the summer after students have completed Golden Eagle Orientation.

COVID Information:

Sessions will follow COVID-19 guidelines and requirements at the time of the event such as pre-arrival testing and vaccine mandates, etc. Detailed safety information and individual requirements will be shared via Brockport email before the session date.

Proof of vaccination is required for overnight programs, as it is currently required for all SUNY students. Students with concerns, questions, or religious/medical exemptions, please contact Hazen Center for Integrated Care (hazen@brockport.edu).

If any student or guest has Covid or Covid-like symptoms on the day of the event, please reach out and we will assist you in choosing another orientation session.
