    Golden Eagle Orientation

Orientation is designed to help you understand academic requirements and expectations, identify campus resources and involvement opportunities, and learn about important policies and procedures.

Our two-part orientation process is required for incoming transfer students:

    Part 1: Attend a half-day orientation session
All new students should select an orientation session below.
Each session will be in-person at the SUNY Brockport campus. Choose the session date that works best for you!

Part 2: Complete a required orientation module
After attending your half-day session, you will receive access to the online module and have time to review this information before the fall semester begins.
    In-Person Orientation sessions:
    • Students attending an in-person session are permitted to bring one guest.
    • Please plan to arrive on campus at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the program to allow time to check-in.
    COVID Information:
    • Sessions will follow COVID-19 guidelines and requirements at the time of the event such as pre-arrival testing and vaccine mandates, etc.
    • Detailed safety information and individual requirements will be shared via Brockport email before the session date.
    • Students with concerns, questions, or religious/medical exemptions, please contact Hazen Center for Integrated Care (hazen@brockport.edu).
    • If any student or guest has Covid or Covid-like symptoms on the day of the event, please reach out and we will assist you in choosing another orientation session.
    Online Orientation sessions:
    • Access to the online orientation session will be shared after students have attended the in-person session.
    • Students must attend the online orientation session in its entirety.
    • While participating in the online orientation session, students should not be at work, attending classes, or driving in a vehicle.
